These wash water systems, utilizing Oxidation Reduction Potential (ORP), provide unique capabilities for a "Hands Free" operation of water treatment. This allows true automation 24 hours a day, and work with any Oxidizer (Chlorine, Bromine, Ozone, Peroxide, and Peracetic Acid). Sensors monitor the pH and ORP continuously and the controller automatically turns the chemical pumps ON and OFF as needed. These systems always maintain a tight chemical concentration range, so that it never exposes the product to an overdose of chemical, which may burn the product, or to an under dose, which may leave the possibility of contamination. They inject chemicals on demand or as needed, and adjusts to the organic load in the water. At the beginning of the day or when the water is fresh, it takes very little chemical to achieve the desired oxidation levels. As the organic load builds up, which reduces ORP, the control systems add more chemical to adjust for it, thus providing efficient chemical use and minimizes waste.
